Pacific Pokers

Have you ever heard anything about Pacific pokers? Of course, you should have heard this term, although if you haven’t, we won’t be surprised as well. Pacific pokers are played by most of poker players, but it includes different games, that have their own names, so that you can play Pacific pokers for a big period of time and in the same time hear nothing about the generalized name of the games.


So, pacific pokers consolidate different poker games, such as: Texas Holdem, Omaha High, Omaha High/Low, 7 Card Stud, 7 Stud High/Low and others. There are no much distinctive rules for these games. Pacific pokers are played with, or, rather, against men or a gambling-house.

During the game you get and discard cards to make the strongest hand it will be possible. Of course, in the end of the game everyone shows the hand he has and so the winning payout is distributed among players, considering the situation.


The USA is known to be the origin of these games, though the city or state they came from is not determined: there are only some suppositions. One of the hypotheses says that Pacific pokers were “born” in the beginning of the nineteenth century in region of the New Orleans.
